We just cut out 4 scale truck bed boxes off the machine shop this week.
The lids fit snug, but are held in place by super strong mini magnets. There is enough room in there to fit all sorts of stuff, wether its your scale items, or your battery and electronics!
We are wondering what everyone prefers for material? All Aluminum or all UHMW. Right now we have the UHMW bottom with the aluminum lid. We keep shooting the UHMW lids out of the machine because its such a small surface to clamp.
I will look into getting scale diamond plate sticker wraps but would like to hear what everyone wants. I have 4 of these combos shown via my cell phone pics
